Here's how we assisted John...
We first met John when he contacted us about his PC's erratic behaviour. He had found that files were vanishing or that he was unable to open them. A home office user mainly using his computer for word processing, this was extremely frustrating for John. After talking to him, the team at Whitstable Computer Repair knew right away what the problem was. After visiting John at his home and investigating, as we suspected we would, we found that his computer had contracted a virus via his Local Area Network (LAN). Computer viruses are software programs that copy themselves and infect computers without permission or knowledge of the owners. We got to work scanning John's PC to rid it of the malicious software, before implementing top-of-the-range anti-virus software. Now that he has protection he can rely on, John hasn't had any more trouble from pesky viruses.
